Growth spurt...

I took Audrey to her 18 month check up today and she is doing awesome! She had a major growth spurt since her last appointment. She is 33 inches long which puts her in the 89th percentile, and she weighs 25 pounds which puts her in the 64th percentile (she used to be in the 44th percentile). The doctor wanted to make sure she is developing well. She is doing better than the recommendations for toddlers her age. The doctor also wanted to make sure she knew at least 8 words and I told him she knows about 30 words! :) He was very pleased and so am I. I am very proud of her and all she is learning everyday.

18 months already???

Wow...can it be true? Is my baby already 18 months old? It is frightening how quickly time flies by these days. Nathan and I were just looking back through all of our pictures the other day and we were reminded of all the fun things we have been able to share with Audrey and how blessed we are. It has been a very eventful 18 months and we are so excited to see what God has in store for our little girl in the future!

Since I haven't been able to find the time to finish Audrey's scrapbook...I thought it would be fun to make a list of all the fun and amazing things Audrey can do and say so that I can keep track. One day we can look back at this and I can tell her about how funny she was and how she always made us laugh. :) Bear with me...

-she loves Taylor Swift...she evens hums along, pats her legs, & wiggles in her car seat when we have her cd in

-her favorite food is refried beans and anything daddy feeds her from the couch

-she calls any kids she sees "baby!"

-she can put her glasses on by herself

-she loves to take off her clothes

-she can color with a crayon (every crayon is "blue" though)

-she is pretty efficient at feeding herself

Well that is about it I guess. Thank goodness for the internet...now I don't have to stress about my scrapbooks. haha! If you actually made it to the end of this horribly long blog entry you are awesome! ;)

Audrey got so many wonderful presents for Christmas! She loves them all. :) Here she is reading one of her newest books! She is learning so many new words each day.
