Latest developments...

So here is the latest scoop with Audrey. As we all know she has had the cutest little cross eyes since she was a little baby, which we were told was normal but they aren't going away. We took her to see an ophthalmologist earlier this week and they informed us that they should have corrected themselves by this age. We were ordered to put an eye patch on her right eye for two hours a day, hopefully this will help strengthen her left eye. We are hoping for good results, but the doctor told us that it is very likely she will need eye muscle surgery to fix this problem, sooner rather than later. We are sharing this with everyone so that you can put Audrey in your thoughts and prayers. :)

Happy girl....regardless. :) Here she is sporting her very hip new eye patch (they come in all kinds of girly styles).

She loves her books and as you can tell, the patch isn't stopping her from getting in some good reading time.

Wow...this is the best toy mommy has ever given me.

Daddy loves me! Nate was trying to keep her happy while I finished eating my dinner and this is what he came up with...pretty clever. Who doesn't like a nice back rub? :)

Sitting up like a big girl. I had her laying on this comforter while I changed the sheets and I looked over to find her sitting up! I am so proud of her. :)

Mom and Bob's Visit

We went to eat and get a drink after going to the zoo. Even Audrey thought she deserved a drink! :)

Gramma got to feed her a few bottles while we went out. Nathan and I were so lucky...we got to go out on three little dates! We are so grateful. :)

Audrey loved the visit...gramma wasn't nearly as sick of these toys as mommy was. ;)

Trip to the Zoo

The peacock kept making loud noises and Audrey was confused.... but very interested! I preferred to stand back a little. ;)

I have never seen a lion this close before. This was amazing. It was a little scary because he got really close to the glass and was licking his lips!

Cherry Creek State Park

We took a little drive (about five minutes actually) and went over to the state park. We were so surprised how beautiful it was here and we are excited to frequent the park once it gets a little warmer. ;)
